Enjoying a setting that is unique among other universities, Middle East University was established in 2005. MEU’s campus is located a few kilometers away from Amman, towards Queen Alia International Airport. Currently, the University offers Master’s and Bachelor’s programmes; the former was launched at the beginning of the academic year 2005/2006. By this time, eleven majors are offered and 2978 students have successfully completed the requirements of their degrees. As for the Bachelor’s programme, it was introduced in the academic year of 2008/2009 and at this time offers twenty-one majors. So far, 4214 students have been awarded their Bachelor’s degrees.
