Amman: The Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship at Middle East University, in collaboration with D5Art, has initiated an introductory workshop with the objective of enabling students to develop their technological skills and contribute to the provision of innovative solutions to real-life challenges. This initiative reflects the centre’s vision of inspiring and supporting students to become future leaders in the technical field.
The workshop was designed to enhance students’ awareness of the importance of modern technology, with advanced technologies including artificial intelligence, block chain, and Web 3 being showcased.
Students were invited to participate in a hackathon, during which they were tasked with developing innovative technical solutions that address key issues affecting a range of fields, including health, smart cities, marketing, and agriculture. The objective was to create solutions that would have a positive impact on society.
This event served as a preliminary competition, which will culminate in a hackathon that will bring together students from various academic disciplines to collaborate on developing solutions to real-world challenges using modern technology.
