Amman: The head of the University Education Department at the Jordan Armed Forces—Arab Army, Brigadier General Tayel Al-Barizat, confirmed the high scientific standing of Middle East University and its qualitative contributions in developing the capabilities of Jordanian youth and qualifying them to excel in the fields of science and work.
This was discussed during a meeting with the Vice President of the Board of Directors of the University, Dr. Ahmad Nasereddin, and the President of the University, Prof. Salam Al-Mahadin. The meeting was an opportunity to review potential avenues for joint cooperation between the university and the armed forces in the educational and academic fields. The objective was to enhance the integration between state institutions in order to achieve their national goals.
During the meeting, the university expressed its profound admiration for the pioneering role of the Jordan Armed Forces—Arab Army and the sacrifices and efforts it makes in maintaining the security of the homeland and protecting its gains. It also emphasised its commitment to expanding the scope of cooperation with this historic military institution, in line with its vision of preparing national elites capable of facing future challenges with confidence.
The two parties agreed on the importance of pursuing the establishment of robust strategic partnerships in the domains of education and training. They also agreed on the launch of joint initiatives that would contribute to the development of national competencies and reflect the integration of roles between academic and military institutions in achieving sustainable development.
