Amman: Middle East University has been recognised for its contributions to entrepreneurship, with its Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship being honoured by Her Royal Highness Princess Sumaya bint Al Hassan.
The honour was bestowed in recognition of the centre’s exemplary contributions to the nurturing of promising young talent and the transformation of innovative concepts into sustainable entrepreneurial enterprises.
This achievement can be attributed to the success of the Global Entrepreneurship Week, which was organised by the centre in collaboration with the Queen Rania Centre for Entrepreneurship. A series of training tracks and interactive activities were designed to enhance the skills of budding entrepreneurs and guide their ideas towards practical implementation.
One of the most noteworthy events of the week was the second-place finish by a student team from the university in the Jordanian Universities Entrepreneurship Competition.
Samer Abdul Dayem, Director of the Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, stated that this recognition reflects the centre’s continued commitment to providing a dynamic platform that enables young people to develop their creative ideas and transform them into entrepreneurial projects capable of making a real impact. The centre believes that empowering youth is an investment in the future of the nation.
