In celebration of World Environment Day, the Deanship of Students’ Affairs organized a campaign for cleaning the road leading to Mount Nebo, in which participated several students, supervised by Dr. Salim Sharif, Dean of Students’ Affairs, and some of the Deanship’s personnel. The delegation was received near Mount Nebo by Dr. Rakan Al Odwan, Assistant Mayor of Madaba, Eng. Mansoor Al Ziben, Manager of Madaba Office of the Royal Administration for Environment Protection, Lieutenant Colonel Samih Al Khalayleh, Head of the Royal Administration for Environment Protection Department at the Public Security Directorate, and Father Ammar Shahin, Superintendent of Mount Nebo Area. Students and other participants cleaned the road leading to Mount Nebo, before heading off to Mount Nebo where Father Ammar Shahin briefed them about the significance of the location. From his side, Dr. Salim Sharif also briefed the attendees about the MEU, its role in community service and the programs it delivers.
