AMMAN – The Human Rights Center at Middle East University’s Faculty of Law ran a training course titled “Debating Skills and Winning Legal Environmental Support” in cooperation with the National Center for Environmental Justice.
Dr. Bilal Al Rawashdeh, the Center’s Director, said, “This training course teaches participants how to gain support and express opinions, and was designed to promote a culture of discussion and debate, illustrate the significance of transparency and accountability, and introduce attendees to the legal and executive framework of the national integrity system.”
MEU, as represented by the Faculty of Law, recently signed an agreement with NCEJ, stipulating the development of a cooperative relationship between the two parties in order to offer training courses related to the study of environmental law and human rights and raise awareness about these issues in the MEU community.
